Terms of Service
Last updated: September 26, 2026
1. Scope and contract
I am Arnold Holm, trading as StratCoreAlpha. This website describes my services and accepts enquiries. Sending a form or reading a page does not place an order or create a paid project. A project begins only when we agree on the specific work and a total price and the order is accepted on its chosen route.
For an order made on a marketplace, that marketplace's contract and payment process applies to the transaction. For a direct order, these terms apply only if they are included in the accepted agreement. An individual written agreement may state different terms. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
2. Services and agreed work
I build and test bounded trading software, including MT4/MT5 repairs, MT5 strategy tests and agreed implementation work. The accepted offer identifies the platform, authorized source, rules, deliverables, acceptance cases, exclusions, total price and delivery window. A new strategy, broker, feature or rule change is separate work unless the accepted offer includes it.
3. Your inputs
Please provide accurate rules, the version and environment needed to reproduce the requested behaviour, and source code that you own or are allowed to share and modify. Do not send broker passwords, API keys or payment details through an enquiry form. I will identify missing decisions before starting the agreed work.
4. Price and payment
The accepted offer or marketplace order states one total price, currency, funding condition and any milestones or subscription period. There is no general 50/50 deposit rule, EUR-only rule or requirement to pay through Stripe. Marketplace-origin work is funded and paid on that marketplace. Any direct payment method is agreed for that particular order before payment.
I do not start paid delivery before the agreed funding condition is met. A recurring care month or further paid work requires its own accepted order. Statutory payment and consumer rights are unaffected.
5. Delivery and corrections
I deliver the agreed source, evidence and instructions on the agreed route. The acceptance cases in the offer determine whether the scoped work is complete. If one of those cases fails, I correct it within that scope. Any additional correction window or revision is the one stated for the purchased service, not a blanket 30-day promise for every project. Your statutory remedies are unaffected.
6. Source code and use rights
Your pre-existing rules, data and authorized source remain yours. After full payment for a direct custom project, I grant you an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide right to use, copy, modify and distribute the new project-specific source I create for you, including transfer with the project and sublicensing as needed to use that project. The individual agreement may define a different grant. German copyright authorship itself is not transferred.
I retain rights to my pre-existing tools, libraries and reusable components. To the extent such a component is included in a paid deliverable, I grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive right to use, copy and adapt it as part of that deliverable, including transfer with the deliverable. A separate sale or licensing of a stand-alone reusable component needs a separate agreement. Third-party components remain under their actual licenses, which I identify where they form part of delivery.
I do not publish your private strategy, source, name or result as a case study without separate permission. Marketplace orders follow any applicable platform and accepted project-specific rights terms.
7. Withdrawal and cancellation
Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract. Starting work or downloading source does not by itself remove that right, and payment is not automatically non-refundable. I give the applicable contract-specific withdrawal information before a binding direct consumer order. The withdrawal and cancellation pageexplains how to send a declaration and provides a sample form. Marketplace orders use the relevant marketplace process without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
8. Trading risk and liability
I provide software development and technical testing, not investment advice. A backtest is a historical simulation, not a forecast. I do not promise profit, a win rate, live execution quality or a prop challenge pass. You remain responsible for trading and for deciding whether to use software with real funds.
Those limits on trading outcomes do not remove my responsibility for the agreed software work. Statutory liability, including liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health, is not excluded or capped by these terms. Statutory defect and consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Confidentiality
I use private rules and source only to assess and perform the requested work, subject to the agreed project and my privacy notice. If a separate confidentiality agreement is needed, its exact terms must be agreed before it binds either party.
10. Governing law and disputes
German law governs a direct agreement unless the accepted agreement states otherwise. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection under the law that would apply without the choice. The competent court is determined by applicable law; these terms do not impose an exclusive court in Neuenkirchen on consumers. We can first try to resolve a concern directly in writing.
11. Changes to these terms
A later website version applies to future direct agreements only when included in and accepted with that agreement. I do not change an existing project's price, rights or other material terms merely by editing this page. Changes to an existing agreement require both parties' agreement.
